KRCY Stage 2 Medium Rock Tumbling Grit is a professional-grade silicon carbide abrasive formulated for the second grinding stage in rotary rock tumbling.

This medium grit is designed to smooth scratches, shallow pits, and grinding marks left after the coarse grinding stage. It helps refine stone surfaces, improve overall smoothness, and prepare rocks for pre-polish and final polishing stages. Proper Stage 2 processing is essential for achieving a high-quality polished finish because scratches remaining from earlier stages often become highly visible after polishing.

The abrasive provides stable cutting action and consistent slurry performance, helping users create smoother contours and more even surfaces while minimizing unwanted scratching during later stages.

Recommended tumbling cycle:

• 5–10 days in rotary tumbler
• Water level slightly below top of stones
• Fill barrel 2/3 to 3/4 full
• Clean thoroughly before moving to Stage 3
